Less ordinary reasons to join Spec

(Ed. note: Yesterday, at the activities fair and an open house, we made our case for why you should join Spec. Because we are a fair and balanced news source, we feel obligated to provide you another perspective on our organization. The author offers some markedly different reasons for coming to work with us. To avoid any accusations of editorial slant, we present this post totally unedited, exactly as it was provided to us.)

This is the most unique post you will ever read on Spectrum. You have been given an opportunity; do not squander it.

Right now, you are reading the only post in the history of Spectrum which was written by someone who is openly against everything that Spectrum stands for. Yes indeed, this is like the scene from V for Vendetta where the hero of the story hijacks the airwaves from a corrupt government. But the similarities don't stop there.

"Surely you're joking, Mr. Mask," the naive (freshman) reader at this point responds, "How could the Spectator, a seemingly innocuous organization, share similarities with a corrupt government? And how could something analogous to fearless rebellion against tyranny be found in a student who disagrees with this 'innocuous' organization?" Take a step closer, my friend, and see how deep the rabbit hole goes...
