If you take a cab to and from LaGuardia Airport, you are seriously missing out on some fun.
In today's paper, Sophie Gamez and Casey Tolan report that bigger buses are joining the M60 route:
The new buses—which are known as articulated buses—are 62 feet long, compared to the standard buses’ 40 feet. Articulated buses have about 60 seats, compared to about 40 seats in standard buses, Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokesperson Deirdre Parker said in a statement.
With even more M60 buses being introduced, making the likelihood of you having to actually sit next to another human being you don't know lower than ever, the reasons for you not to take the M60 have dropped to an all time low.
Here are all of the reasons why you should take the M60 on the way to the airport:
You will always have a story to tell. On my way back from the airport on the M60, the bus driver had to take over for another driver who had gotten sick and we were all chaperoned onto another bus traveling through Harlem. On this bus, I heard people shouting, "Get off!" At first glance I thought it was because I had four bags with me, but it turned out there was a man attempting to get a free ride by hanging onto the back of the bus.
