Fuck! I'm in my 20s

Being a twentysomething is confusing for those of us coming of age during such an economically tumultuous era.

Should I feel guilty that I moved in with my parents after graduation/am woefully single/have a useless liberal arts degree? Am I more of a kid or more of an adult?

Thankfully, 24-year-old Emma Koenig—who happens to be the younger sister of Columbia’s very own Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend—has documented the daily struggles and first-world-problems of the average young adult in her blog “Fuck! I'm In My Twenties” and her book of the same name, released this past September.

Browsing the cutesy drawings on Emma’s site, which poke (somewhat ironic) fun at the peculiar blend of post-adolescent angst and early-onset midlife crisis that is the hallmark of many young urbanites today, reveals that perhaps we Columbians are not as alone in our aimless, privileged brand of cynicism as we might like to think.
