In solidarity with our brethren at Wal-Mart who have decided to fight back against their tyrannical management, Spectrum would like to stand with our fellow proletarians by declaring a Black Friday strike!
The workers of Spectrum have been oppressed for too long by the management of the so called "Columbia Daily Spectator." Have these bourgeois capitalist newspaper tycoons noticed that the only part of the "paper" that is actually daily is Spectrum? And that the noble writers of Spectrum, who grace the Spectator's website every day with the very pinnacle of the written word, do not have their work featured in the literal paper they are supposedly part of?
Well, should these robber barons have been unaware of said facts, they will remain ignorant no longer! For too long management has greased their portion of the newspaper industry gold mine with the sweat of humble bloggers, and this practice must be stopped forthwith.
The Spectrum daily editors, who will henceforth be represented by the union "Worldwide United Brotherhood Association of Journeyman and Apprentices of Spectrum," shall cease production until the following demands are met:
1. The official title of the Columbia Daily Spectator be changed to "The Columbia Spectator with Daily Contributions by the Spectrum Staff" (to be known by its full title or the initialism: CSDCSS)
2. All Spectrum posts are to be featured in the next available paper copy of the CSDCSS
