Dean search developments: ESC President Tim Qin, SEAS ’13, said the search committee for a permanent engineering school dean would be interviewing candidates in mid-December, around finals week. He said he hopes that a decision will be made by early next semester.
Spring career search: The Society of Women Engineers, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and ESC are partnering to run a spring career fair that’s focused on engineering companies. The Center for Career Education hosts a fall engineering career fair, but the groups would like to see one in the spring, too.
