I spent Thanksgiving break at my dad's sister's house in Connecticut, with all of his siblings and my cousins on that side. Aside from talking about my dad behind his back with family, I learned a little about what it's like to be retired or semi-retired. The differences compared to college life were pretty massive.
Now, I'm assuming that my aunt once had habits similar to ours. After all, she did get her MBA from Columbia and live in Hogan when it was first turned into apartments (I have a funny story about that involving a rat and a police officer), so she probably hung out in literally the same places that we do.
During my time in Connecticut, I would estimate the average bedtime for most of the house was 10 at night. Keyword: average. One night it was 9:30.
