Spectrum application deadline extended until the 16th!

We’re extending the application deadline to apply for positions within Spectrum until midnight on January 16th.

Click here for position descriptions and application forms. So for all of you slackers who need extra cajoling to pull you out of your winter break slump, here are a few reasons why you should seize this opportunity:

You could be writing and starring in original productions like Shit Columbians Say and Carman Forever.

You’ll always be the first to know about breaking news. 

Since you’ll be at the forefront of campus events and happenings, think how much more seriously you’ll be taken when your rants counter-rants opinions are in the form of a post instead of a three page comment.

You get to learn at the feet of the masters behind the Shaft, setting you on the path of housing enlightenment. And you get to scope out potential future housing without having to be overtly creepy.

There are just some important things you can’t learn in a classroom. Things like how to date people, or how to eat a real bagel. And you could be the one impressing the Columbia community with your mastery of these subjects.

You get to talk to interesting figures on campus like the Barnard-Columbia-Juilliard students or street style stars.

You could show off your impressive GIF collection to the entire community.
