Skip the Super Bowl and play our "Downton Abbey" drinking game

Well, it's that time of year again---the Super Bowl! But for those who aren't sports fans (or think that football means soccer), it also means it's "Downton" time.

Why let the beer-drinking football fans have all the fun? Try our "Downton Abbey" drinking game to end your weekend on a great note. (That is, unless you don't know what a 'weekend' is.)

General Rule: Drink when the characters drink.

Take A Sip When:

  • Branson talks about politics, Ireland, or the class division.
  • Branson’s past as a chauffeur and/or his lower-class standing is mentioned.
  • Each time someone reads a telegram or letter.
  • Someone is smoking.
  • Someone alludes to Ethel’s past as a prostitute.
