At the end of last semester, Columbia students witnessed a cyber cultural phenomenon: Columbia Admirers. In addition to exposing the pent-up sexual frustration of the student body, Columbia Admirers provided a medium for some students to gain Internet fame.
Keanu Ross-Cabrera, a freshman in Columbia College, has unintentionally accomplished just this. Not only does he entertain us with his witty comments, but also he is apparently a very coveted young man on the page. On a daily basis, one can expect to see Keanu’s name tagged in one of Columbia Admirer’s posts. We decided to try and find out what about Keanu makes him a romantic target for members of the Columbia community so we went straight to the force and decided to ask him some questions.
A: What made you start commenting so frequently on Columbia Admirers?
K: I get distracted a lot by Facebook. Columbia Admirers was just sort of there blowing up my newsfeed.
