Rain or shine, snowstorm or hurricane, the members of the Coney Island Polar Bear Club have been swimming at the boardwalk every Sunday during the winter months for the last 110 years.
The rush of being enveloped by the icy waters and the supposed rejuvenating properties of the ocean are what keep this motley crew coming back for more every weekend.
