Gain some control and dust off that Netflix account to enjoy the privileged escapism fantasy of Mad Men. Or maybe peruse some hip Spec issues from the early '60s. Or maybe combine both suggestions and look for advertisements from the early '60s, like in issue number 63, volume CVII of Spectator, on Feb. 14, 1963. As one can see, history teaches some valuable lessons.
Like, don't be a square! Or a Napoleon caricature, if you're in danger of that, I guess.
