The first Penn goal took less than two minutes. The second score, about 2 1/2 more. The third goal came just 49 seconds after that, the fourth goal took only 23 seconds. And on and on it went until 23 minutes into the game, when Columbia finally responded with a goal of its own.

The Columbia heavyweight rowing team won all three races on Saturday to capture the Collins Cup for the fifth year in a row. The women’s team did not fair as well, coming in last in every race but the varsity ‘A’ fours and the novice fours at the Connell Cup against Yale and Penn.
