In his column yesterday, Eric Hirsch started out with a discussion of Hillel’s new blog, which devolved into generally bashing the “narrow-mindedness” of “secular intellectuals” at Columbia.

I admit it was in Times Square that I first fell in love with New York City. As a resident of this city for four years, this idea is not only embarrassing but hard to imagine—nonetheless, I shamefully know it to be true.

If demand remains constant, in the next few years, Columbia’s space crunch will likely worsen as more space is converted to e-classrooms, which have tighter regulations.
