The Columbia volleyball team defeated NJIT on Wednesday for its sixth victory of the year. During the entire 2007-8 season, the Light Blue only won half the number of matches it has won during its current campaign.

This Saturday, the Columbia men’s soccer team (3-9-1, 1-2-0 Ivy) will look to end a three-game losing streak in a home matchup against Dartmouth. This game will be the first of four successive Ivy League games which will close out the Lions’ season.

It was a very busy Monday, probably one of the busiest days I’ve had at Columbia so far: back-to-back classes, piles of problem sets and papers, a Principles of Economics midterm the next morning, and a couple more for later that week.
