Well, all you prospective class of 2013ers without a perfect 2400 SAT score, rejoice! Dean William Fitzsimmons of Harvard University Admissions and Financial Aid has said that Harvard may one day make the SAT and other standardized testing optional.

Imagine having to choose between Christmas morning with your family or taking a 10th-grade biology test; or between observing Rosh Hashana and giving a presentation to your 5th-grade class. Students in New York City’s public schools don’t have to imagine such choices.
