Despite the fact that I am an avid, and sometimes rabid, fan of the New York Yankees, I cannot remember the first time I ever sat in the legendary Yankee Stadium.

All of us live within “imagined communities” (to borrow the phrase from Benedict Anderson). Oftentimes, these “communities” are verbalized as “the ____ community,” where you could insert global, American, New York, Harlem, Black, activist, Columbia, etc.
