Anyone who has walked around Columbia in heels knows that women were not part of the equation when the Morningside campus was built. This is perhaps understandable.

One of the first things I noticed about Columbia was how bureaucracy permeates many aspects of life. Even when it has to do with something as simple as calling HAPPY to get a refill on that toilet paper that has been missing for a week, one often gets the classic bureaucratic runaround.
