A solid first-half effort wasn’t enough for men’s soccer in Saturday’s match against Yale, as a three-goal barrage from the Bulldogs with 15 minutes to play left the Lions with a sour taste in their mouths. Saturday’s 4-1 loss dropped Columbia to 0-4 in the Ivy League, and 3-9-1 overall.

The Columbia field hockey squad improved its record to 9-6 (3-2 Ivy) with a 2-1 victory at Rutgers (8-11) on Sunday.
Amy Lewis of Rutgers struck first off an attack penalty corner 4:40 into the match, assisted by Corinne Bach and Melissa Bowman.

Mike McLeod is the most dominant skill position player in the Ivy League this year. He broke his own school record for touchdowns in a season by adding three against Columbia, and with three games left and another season to go, his career stats will only become more phenomenal.
