Real Beauty: A Photo Essay

We all present ourselves in a certain way, and that's often the only version of us that others see as their reality. But what goes into that? What are the processes we go through in order to carefully cultivate the version of ourselves that we wish to present? How might these processes contrast the with "real" version of ourselves that we present to society and that others percieve?

And how could that change when we try to document it all?
