Baseball’s afternoon contest against Rutgers was postponed in the top of the first inning on Tuesday. The Scarlet Knights jumped to a 2-0 lead before the umpires stopped the game due to  rain showers.

Baseball will look to get back to winning ways with a Wednesday afternoon contest at home against Fordham.  The Lions (10-21, 4-8 Ivy) enter the matchup having lost five of their last six games and currently sit at the bottom of the Lou Gehrig Division in the Ivy League.

William Campbell, CC ’62, TC ’64, died on Monday at the age of 75.  Campbell had most recently chaired the Columbia board of trustees from 2005 to 2014 before being succeeded by Jonathan Schiller, CC ’69, Law ’73, that summer.
