The proposed Manhattanville expansion is widely misunderstood at Columbia. To become thoroughly confused and uneducated on the topic, just read a few of the flyers posted around campus. I'm going to do my best to clear up a few of the issues at stake, starting with eminent domain.

Other than legacy students, pretty much everyone hates legacy students. Of course, some of them worked hard and earned their way into Columbia, but the policy itself makes about as much sense as their ramblings on Homer.

The women's swimming and diving team is coming off of a disappointing sixth-place finish at last year's Ivies. But according to head coach Diana Caskey, the team has put the past behind them and is aiming to come back better than ever."We're upping the ante," Caskey said.
