The MTA may be on track to strike. Officials from the Metropolitan Transit Authority will meet today with representatives from Local 100, the New York City branch of the national Transit Workers Union, to discuss proposed changes in the TWU's contract with the MTA.

I saw a poster on campus the other day detailing the story of a Palestinian girl, Iman al-Hams, who was killed accidentally by Israeli soldiers. The poster cherry-picked quotations and facts to make it look like Israeli soldiers use little girls for target practice.
