University President Lee Bollinger announced the decision Monday in a University-wide e-mail.

After a ten-month search, the Jewish Theological Seminary will name Stanford University Professor Arnold Eisen as the school's seventh chancellor. Eisen will be the second person who is not a rabbi to hold the post.
