Iona at Columbia After losing to Princeton at homecoming last Saturday 19-6, Columbia finishes up their nonconference schedule against Iona in their final game of a four-game homestand.

With their starting quarterback and head coach both sidelined due to injury, Iona was no match for Columbia on Saturday afternoon. The Lions outscored the Gaels 24-0 and posted the team's first shutout victory since 1998.

Correction appended. Dr. Mortimer J. Adler, CC '83, received his Ph.D. in philosophy from Columbia where he also taught for six years, authored over 30 books, and chaired Encyclopaedia Britannica's Board of Editors-all before graduating from college. He has the swim test to thank.

How long have you been working at Kim's? I've been here for a long time. Three years. That's not the norm though; there's usually a burnout period of two to three years, and at that point people just have to leave. What is your single strangest Kim's experience?

First and foremost the Black Student Organization aligns support to all student organizations affected by this issue, especially other students of color organizations. We empathize with the offensiveness of the racist and xenophobic rhetoric and actions upheld by the Minutemen.
