Throughout this season, defense has been a staple of the women's soccer team's success. On Saturday night, Columbia shone again on defense while exploiting their opponent's back four, downing Penn 1-0 on a 63rd-minute goal by senior Shannon Munoz.

There is no worse outcome than losing a game through unforced errors. For the Columbia volleyball team, that happened twice this weekend against Yale and Brown. After a 3-1 loss to the Bulldogs on Friday, the Lions suffered a similar fate in Providence, falling 3-1 to the Bears.
