We're not "Columbia University." No, for better or for worse, we are "Columbia University in the City of New York." But beyond the pomp and circumstance, there's a legitimate connection to be made. Columbia's reputation is intertwined with the city we so proudly call home.

The Ivy League Indoor Track and Field Championships are coming back to New York City. For the first time in 55 years, indoor Heptagonals will be hosted at the New York City Armory, the Ivy League announced last week.

At the beginning of the 2006-2007 basketball season, it was clear that several teams in the Ancient Eight had done some serious recruiting. A few teams-Columbia, Princeton, and Cornell, in particular-recruited some high-scoring guards.
