For the Columbia women's basketball team, mentality is everything. Last weekend, the Lions picked up their first Ivy win on the road at Yale, and nearly defeated Brown the following night, a feat that has yet to be seen in the program's history.

The wrestling team heads on a New England road trip this weekend to close out its dual meet season. Columbia will face Brown in Providence, R.I. today and travel to Cambridge, Mass. for a Saturday doubleheader against Harvard and Bucknell.

Given all his accomplishments the last three years, it should be no surprise that Penn senior point guard Ibrahim Jaaber continues to be the Quakers' go-to player on both ends of the court. What could come as a surprise, however, is how close Jaaber's career came to ending after high school.
