Anyone who has ever been interested in Ivy or even just collegiate athletics understands that conference championships usually come in bunches. It makes sense when you consider that your opponents don't really change drastically from year to year.

Last season, the Dartmouth baseball team slumped into Ivy League play with a dismal 3-9 record. Early season struggles are not uncommon for Ivy League teams, especially given the level of competition they face.
