The Columbia baseball team would like to forget the month of April. The last two weeks have seen the Lions squander a great start to the season by going 1-7 and losing six straight, culminating in yesterday's 21-6 loss to Big East leading Rutgers.

It's been four days, but last weekend's last-minute loss to Brown still lingers like a thorn in the side of Light Blue lacrosse. Saturday's 11-10 defeat was not the first time this season that Columbia came close, only to fall short at the end.
