There is one word that describes Kevin Reynolds' new movie, The Count of Monte Cristo: ridiculous. This film, which claims to be based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas, does not resemble most of the original, masterful tale. Instead, it is replete with anachronisms, bad acting, and corny humor.
