This fall's "O," the dance extravaganza presented by the Orchesis dance troupe, was spectacular. A packed Lerner auditorium witnessed dances of smoking sexuality and searing anger. Each choreographer's artistic vision fit into the puzzle of lights and music that made up the show.

Ancient Greek drama runs the risk of being either dry and irrelevant or melodramatic and over-acted. Thankfully, the new production at the Blue Heron Theatre, The Cure at Troy, was plagued by neither extreme, proving to be a lively performance of a long-standing masterpiece.
