After the Light Blue’s race against Rutgers on the Harlem River last Saturday, the team held a ceremony for Ralph Sheffer, a former Columbia coxswain from the class of 1934. Sheffer christened his new namesake, an eight-oared Empacher shell he donated to Columbia.
