Almost a year ago, President Bush declared that Iraq was a threat to American national security. Last month, the United States proceeded to remove this danger. But, now that the war is over, we should ask, how dangerous was Iraq?

I am not ashamed to admit that I love this university. When I was a senior in high school, it was not easy to commit to Columbia, despite her superficial attractiveness. But I took the plunge and promised myself to Alma Mater. It is a decision I have never regretted.

The Mezzanine floor in Carman, which is inhabited by ten freshman men, has long been believed to be both marginalized and mysterious. In past years it has been dubbed M for monastery. Even student performances have been known to poke fun at this sadly shortened floor.
