The fate of the building housing West Side Market and Columbia Hot Bagels has been in the news frequently in recent weeks. Much of the hubbub is due to the uncertainty about what will be built on the site and how long it will take for the stores to reopen, if they are able to do so at all.

Bill Beechum finished the 2003 season with five tackles and one sack. Appearing in five games, Beechum was a valuable reserve for the Lions prior to an injury suffered against Princeton. In two months, Beechum has improved from a back squat of 415 pounds to 530 pounds.
