It should come as no surprise that Columbia hiked undergraduate tuition yet again this year. After all, tuition has more than doubled since 1990.

Since I don't start class until the late afternoon on most weekdays--I know, life is tough for an urban studies major--I've recently resumed my much-beloved pre-teen summer tradition of settling down to a solid stream of soap operas from 1-3 p.m. every afternoon.

An old cliche states that soccer is a game of two halves. But for the women's soccer team this year, it has also been a game of two goalies--two goalies who have not allowed a single goal in more than 450 continuous minutes of play. That's five straight shutouts--a Columbia record.
