The red-light bar below the Bowery Ballroom is a far stretch from the rock-clubs of London, which for Tom Meighan means a lot. There’s no hero’s welcome here; few people in the bar even know the name of Meighan’s band, Kasabian, let alone recognize him, the lead singer.
