Paulina Mangubat is a Barnard College first-year with a prospective major in economics. Restroom Ruminations runs alternate Thursdays.
Paulina is from Phoenix, Arizona, and along with he major, she intends to minor in Africana studies, a degree she hopes to use to dismantle racial barriers in New York City. In addition to writing for Spectator, she participates in the Barnard Emerging Leaders Program and occasionally acts in various CUPAL productions. When she isn’t writing for The Prospect Blog or helping high school seniors with their college applications, Paulina enjoys memorizing Nicki Minaj lyrics and bargain shopping.
