Nighttime 1 train service above 96th Street suspended next week

For students on campus, the right track just became harder to choose. From Jan. 13 to 17, there will be no 1 train service between 96th and Dyckman streets from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., as DNAinfo reported.

The stations will be bypassed to allow for MTA Fastrack repairs, which close stations for consecutive days so that crew members can work without interruption.

The MTA will provide a free shuttle service between the 96th Street 123 station and the 168th Street A station that will take you right to your usual 110th or 116th Street stops. Other alternatives include taking the A or C train to 116th and then walking across Morningside Park. There's also the M104 bus, which runs up and down Broadway.

It's incredible and irresponsible that you would give out directions to do this!!!! What else have you said in your paper that is totally ridiculous!?

Columbia also has round the clock shuttle service between Morningside, Manhattanville, and med center campuses with a valid Columbia ID.
